Travellers

A series of paintings for the hall of BC 30 Office, Váci út, Budapest. 

I have painted on wood with acrylic. The series was made in 2009. The facing of the hall radiated a kind of cool and icy sense due to its metallic surface and lighting. In this series, therefore, I used mainly warm colours so that the hall could welcome its guests with a more cosy atmosphere. The wooden elements of this space were reddish, so I chose colours that match the pre-existing colour combination for the sake of a well-composed scenery.

I received positive feed regarding this solution: visitors were happier to enter this building and the atmosphere of this space improved to a great extent.
